What has been the biggest challenge you have had in your business?

The biggest challenge has been finding the resources and funding to get things off the ground level. When small business owners and/or entrepreneurs are looking for financial help, they are usually looking in the wrong directions. We were able to connect to a few people and companies that actually do this. They are able to help in many ways and the ones that I like the best are the Government ones. Many are not aware of all the government grants that are out there for small business owners, and in some cases, the loans do not need to be paid back. When you work with a coach, in some cases, they will have a list of government grants. When you submit an application, it is not to say that you will be ‘granted,’ and it cannot be assumed either, as there are many things that must be considered and factored.

What have you implemented to overcome that challenge?

Having the right plan (business plan) for the right resources has been key, connecting with the right connections is key in all of that. The same thing can be said about having a business plan.

What were the results after you implemented your solution?

Getting recognized for your work and hard work in order to be guided in the right direction. The best advice I can give to anyone that is thinking or looking at becoming self-employed either by opening a business or as an entrepreneur, do your research and get help from a coach!
